Craft show at Conrad Weiser High School
On Saturday, 11/10, I participated in the very large craft show at Conrad Weiser High School in Berks County. There were over 135 vendors and it was very well attended. Here are a couple of photos of some of the things I took with me.
I will be showing at wonderful craft display in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania from December 2nd through the 4th. If you would like more information about that show, please send me an email!

Finally moving to the new Hazelnut Deux blog!
I am now posting all the new entries onto Hazelnut Deux (hazelnutdeux.blogspot.com). I promised the lovely folks at Hazelnut Hill (the nut farm) that I would give up this blog link. Hazelnut Deux will eventually move to a dot.com address but right now I am slammed working on inventory for the "Vendor Blender" on October 13th and the HUGE craft show at Conrad Weiser High School on October 27th.

Something new!
I received a Nook tablet for my birthday/Mother's Day. This morning I finally made a cover.
.
It is quilted front and back and has interior pockets that are lined with rigid plastic to provide protection to the Nook. All you have to do is flip open the cover and read your Nook. The Nook is secured inside the cover with access to the entire screen and all the control buttons. A quilted cotton cover with hook and loop closure sells for $28. All covers can be custom made in fabrics and colors you may choose from my fabric collection.
This is my first prototype so I am still "tweaking" the design. I am working on one that is made from batiks and has a leather closure and another with a completely different type of closure. More to see soon!
What in the world is that little fuzzy thing on the bottom?! |

Walker tote
My mom is recovering from knee surgery and will need to use a walker for a little while. I made this for her.
It is about 12" long and 14" across. A fold over flap at the top attaches to itself with hook and loop tape. It has two large pockets and four smaller pockets across the front. It can be modified to add a zippered pocket in the back for the safekeeping of valuables. Without the zippered pocket the price is $20. With the additional pocket, the bag sells for $25. \Mom loves it and is strolling around the rehabilitation facility handing out my business cards!
