As the countdown to Christmas begins, I thought I would post some photos of great Christmas gift ideas.  Please contact me if you have any questions or requests.  Remember, all of my bags/totes/accessories can be customized to your color and fabric preference.

Name Change!!

It has come to my attention that "Hazelnut Hill" is a registered trade name for a company that sells....you guessed it...hazelnuts!  This means I have to change the name of my company.  I have searched high and low and cannot find anything called "Hazelnut Deux" so that is the new name for my company.  It actually has kind of a cool ring to it, doesn't it?  I am also liking it because my sons' father is French.

Are you confused yet?  I know I am!

Some new things

I have been doing a lot of "random" strip piecing and made this iPad slipcover

It is a little difficult to see in the photo but the strips are cut and sewn at angles...which makes it look like I am a terrible seamstress!  I really enjoyed making this cover - and digging through all of my lovely batik scraps.  The bag is $30.

These are a few of the fall inspired items.

The runner quilted with the leaf motif is 32" x 19.5". The other quilted with straight lines is 30" x 19".  They are $25 each.

The table mats are $20.  The mat that has a lot of gold is 24" square.  The one quilted with the feather motif is 20.5" square.  Both have been pre-washed and dried so they have an "antique" appearance.

New bags available!

I sewed all weekend and finished up (ok, maybe except for a button or 2!) five bags.  Here are a couple of photos.

Beach Bag!

I have sold a bunch of these but have one left in my inventory.   The bag has 5 pockets across the front with room for sunglasses, keys, iPod, sunscreen, etc.  There are no pockets inside the bag.  It is lined with cotton muslin.  The bag measures 17” across, 6” deep and is about 18” high.  The outer fabric is home dec weight and has been quilted. The price for the bag is $30 and standard shipping is free.

Diaper bag love…

Is it possible to love a diaper bag?  I think so!  Dee needed a gift for a baby shower and ordered a bag from me.  I love working with black & white fabric and I adore this bag!

 

In this one I had the pockets all along the bottom but also added pockets near the top for mom’s keys, cell phone and a pen.  Included with the bag was the little binky bag and a changing mat.  This bag measured roughly 25” x 19” with the bottom being about 6” across.  Plenty of room for just about anything baby might need for the day!
